SAIC has a symbolic tradition of dropping thousands of balloons every year, at their commencement ceremony. Because of the unexpected online graduation ceremony due to COVID-19, the school decided that it would have been too hard to continue its tradition. As a second-best solution, I decided to create a motion graphic, which effectively provided an unforgettable scene for the graduating students.
