Overview
Challenge
Create a consistent, highly interactive, and engaging experience that lets naïve guests feel like they have a lot of freedom in the choices they make. Despite this feeling of freedom, ensure they have a very enjoyable time in the brief experience.
VR Story Concept
At approximately 9:10 PM last night, the heiress Florence Von Swan's prized emerald necklace was stolen from her study. It's now up to you, rookie detective Ruby Retriever, to crack the case. Walk around the scene of the crime and collect clues before choosing one of two suspects: Lucie Goose and Benedict Bear.
My Role
As a 3D Artist in the team, my responsibility was to create 3D models in Cinema 4D, put textures using Substance Painter, and import the .fbx models into Unity 3D. In Unity, I added lighting, color, and post-processing. Our team ran user tests with naïve guests to see if the guests can understand the overall plot, I participated in the whole process from brainstorming, and playtesting, to the presentation.
